Alliance Engineering & Consulting, LLC provides a comprehensive range of engineering services to property owners, architects, contractors, and developers throughout the state. What You’ll Do: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of structures such as buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects. This role demands strong technical skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and analyze structural systems using engineering principles and software tools.
- Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations for various projects.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure construction complies with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to optimize project designs and resolve issues.
- Perform feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure project viability and safety.
- Ensure all designs meet local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards.
- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors.
- Stay updated on advancements in structural engineering technologies and methodologies.
- Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on engineering practices and design principles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in structural engineering
- Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Familiarity with project management tools and practices.
