Nadian is the energy behind Zak Human Solutions, helping CEOs and leadership teams scale with confidence by building the people, culture, and systems that fuel growth. She blends sharp HR expertise with a people-first approach, guiding organizations through rapid change, culture shifts, and leadership transitions with clarity and compassion. Outside of work, you’ll find her traveling with her husband and two boys, exploring new foods, or soaking up perspective in nature. Her philosophy? HR shouldn’t just protect — it should transform.

Kacie Scott
Kacie has over 10 years of experience in HR, specializing in recruitment and playing matchmaker between top talent and their dream jobs. She has deep expertise in workforce planning, particularly in high-growth situations where a company’s most valuable asset, sustainability, is at stake. Beyond recruiting, Kacie is a trusted HR business partner, known for working closely with business owners to design and execute HR strategies that align people, culture, and business goals. She has recruited across multiple industries for C-suite executives as well as hourly and part-time roles, always with the same focus, placing the right person in the right seat so they can reach their greatest potential. Kacie lives in Nashville with her husband, two children, and three dogs.

Gary Zhou
Gary Zhou is the systems architect behind Zak Human Solutions’ digital evolution. As Chief Technology Officer, he leads the firm’s technology strategy, designing tools and infrastructure that make HR smarter, faster, and more human. His work bridges AI, product design, and operational strategy, ensuring that technology enhances, rather than replaces, the human connection at the heart of HR. Before joining Zak, Gary worked with companies such as Google, Tesla, and SpaceX, where he honed a deep understanding of how systems, data, and people intersect to drive innovation at scale. A lifelong builder, he started coding and launching ventures at age twelve and has since founded and advised multiple startups across industries including real estate, media, and sustainability. At Zak, Gary brings that same spirit of innovation to every engagement, transforming how teams collaborate, make decisions, and deliver impact. His guiding philosophy is simple: technology should serve people, not the other way around.

Haley Hermes
Haley is the Executive Search Manager for Zak Human Solutions, where she leads end-to-end recruiting efforts while also advising clients on HR strategy and systems. She has placed talent ranging from line staff to executive leaders, always with a focus on creating the right cultural and organizational fit. Her background in both recruitment and HR consulting allows her to support companies not just in hiring, but also in building sustainable people practices. Haley is recognized for her genuine, collaborative approach and her ability to align people with processes that fuel long-term success. Outside of work, Haley enjoys caring for her small menagerie of pets, getting lost in a good fantasy novel, and lifting (a very respectable 20 pounds) at the gym.

Todd Porter
Todd is a seasoned Human Resource Consultant with over 20 years of experience driving strategic HR, operations, and safety initiatives. He specializes in building talent pipelines, optimizing HRIS systems, and designing competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent. Todd is skilled in compliance, employee relations, and workforce safety, with a proven ability to create policies, training programs, and risk management frameworks that strengthen culture and performance. As a trusted advisor, he partners with clients to deliver tailored HR solutions that align people strategy with business goals, ensuring both regulatory compliance and organizational success.

Sarah Woodruff
Sarah Woodruff specializes in helping small to mid‑sized businesses unlock growth through stronger people operations. With over 18 years of experience spanning Human Resources and Operations in legal, private equity, senior living/therapy, and entertainment sectors, she brings both depth and adaptability to every client engagement. She holds a BBA in Business Administration from Belmont University. In her current role as HR Consultant with Zak Human Solutions, Sarah partners with leadership to build and implement scalable, people‑first solutions that drive organizational growth and employee engagement. Sarah’s HR Superpowers are Onboarding/Candidate Experience and Team Building/Culture Realignment. In her free time, you can catch Sarah at the ice rink or basketball court, watching her kids skate and play ball, or making props at her community theatre. She can’t make it through the day without her long dog walks and cat snuggle time, although she would really rather be at the beach with a book!
