Behind the Screens is a full-service online business management firm for the high achieving business owner. We support clients in achieving their wildest dreams, but help them create a life of true freedom and excellence – both inside and outside of the “office”.
As our Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for helping our clients repurpose content they have already created into different mediums (ex. YouTube video into Instagram Post, an email, a blog, etc.). You will also be responsible for engaging client accounts, creating social media graphics, and drafting blogs, emails, and social posts.
Please note that this is a contract (1099) position, and the pay is $18-24/hr. The ideal candidate is available to work during regular office hours Monday to Friday for 10-15 hours/week to start (with the potential to grow to full-time).
What You’ll Do
- Social Media Strategy: You will create customized social media strategies for our clients based on their needs – some of their goals might include account growth, visibility, conversion, etc.
- Content Creation: You will be responsible for creating content for our clients – the majority of content we create at BTS is based on repurposing (our clients have podcasts, Youtube videos, classes, and the like and we extract content from there to share). This includes feed curation, caption writing, and more. You will be creating content for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook among other platforms.
- Scheduling: You’ll be responsible for scheduling posts on different social media platforms using the Meta native scheduler or apps like Planoly, Metricool, Later, Hootesuite and the like.
- Short Form Video Editing: You will be expected to proficiently edit short form videos for Reels and TikToks – clients have branding and editing standards you must follow.
- Engagement: You will be engaging on client accounts to encourage community building, audience growth, and building know, like and trust with their audience. This includes liking, commenting, and occasionally DMing followers.
- Analytics Tracking & Analysis: You will be expected to pull monthly analytics and analyze them to track performance and adjust strategies based on data rather than feelings.
